Community rules

We are gardeners sharing our experience. The rules are simple, so that the forum stays pleasant and useful for everyone.

  1. Stay on topic and be respectful. Arguing is fine, insulting is not.
  2. Write in your own language. Other gardeners can translate posts in other languages with one click.
  3. Photos — your own or with the author's permission. By publishing photos and texts, you allow Roza Book to use them freely — on the site (including variety pages) and beyond it, also without stating your name. Details are in the Terms of use, section 4.
  4. No advertising or spam. You can share your experience of buying from nurseries in the “Where to buy roses” section. Mass links and advertising are removed.
  5. About diseases — with photos. Show the leaves from both sides and the whole bush: the advice will be more accurate.
  6. Moderation. You can report a post that breaks the rules with the “Report” button. Moderators may delete a post or block an account.
  7. Your data. We store your name, email and city (if given). Your email is not shown to others. Details are in the Privacy policy; you can delete your account in “My account”.
  8. Advice comes without guarantees. Forum posts are gardeners' personal experience. Check advice against your own conditions and read the instructions for fertilisers and plant protection products.

My climate

Choose a reference temperature to compare with the cultivar’s data. This is not an overwintering forecast or advice on winter protection; consider wind, moisture and the duration of frost.

Regional data are generalised. USDA describes average annual extreme minima, not a forecast; the values in the list are rounded. Check the conditions at your site. More information: Roses in Ukraine's climate.
