1. About the site

Roza Book is a community guide to roses with variety descriptions, care advice, and a gardeners’ forum. It is operated by the Roza Book project administration in Ukraine. Until the legal and email setup is complete, use the “Contact” page. Public registration will open only after that work is finished.

2. Information without warranties

Variety descriptions, care tips, winter hardiness, climate zones, timing of garden work and other information are gathered by gardeners from their own experience and from open sources. It may be incomplete, outdated or wrong, and the result in your garden depends on climate, soil, weather and care.

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or suitability of the information for your conditions.
• We are not responsible for the consequences of using advice from the site, including the death or disease of plants, loss of harvest, or damage caused by fertilizers or plant protection products.
• Before using fertilizers and plant protection products, read the manufacturer's instructions and follow them.
• Forum posts and tips are the personal opinions of their authors, not the position of Roza Book.
• Mentions of nurseries, shops and products are not advertising or a guarantee of quality.
• Translations of the site into other languages are made automatically and may contain inaccuracies. If a translation differs from the Ukrainian text, the Ukrainian text is considered correct.

3. Account

• A person who has reached the age of 16 may register.
• Provide a real email address: it is needed to sign in and later for emails about replies and restoring access to your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything published from your account.
• You can delete your account by writing to us. After this, posts may remain on the site without your name (see section 4).

4. Your photos and texts

By publishing photos, texts, reviews or other materials on Roza Book (hereinafter “your materials”), you grant the owner of Roza Book a free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive right to use your materials in any way and to transfer this right to others. In particular, we may:

• display your materials on the site: in the forum, on variety pages, in collections and articles;
• use them outside the site: in social media, newsletters, and Roza Book's printed and advertising materials;
• translate, shorten, crop and resize photos, and combine them with other materials;
• use your materials without stating your name.

To the extent the law allows, you agree not to require the attribution of authorship and not to object to changes needed for publication. This right remains in effect after a post or an account has been deleted. The author's moral rights, which the law does not allow you to waive, remain with you.

By publishing materials, you confirm that:

• you hold the rights to them: you took or wrote them yourself, or you have the author's permission;
• the people visible in photos agree to their publication;
• the materials do not violate the law or the rights of other people.

If this is not the case, the person who published the material is responsible to the rights holder.

5. Forum rules

On the forum, the community rules apply: respect, no advertising or spam, and photos that are yours or made with the author's permission. Moderators may delete a post that violates the rules or the law without warning, and may restrict or block an account.

6. Personal data

How we collect and store your data is described in the Privacy policy.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. A new version takes effect from the moment it is published on this page; we will announce material changes on the site. By continuing to use the site after changes, you agree to the new version.

8. Applicable law

The law of Ukraine applies to these terms. We first try to resolve disputes through correspondence.
