How to grow

Where to plant. As a specimen plant on the lawn, in a romantic border, beside an arbour, or as a low hedge. It looks striking planted en masse in a cottage garden.

Climate. The whole of Ukraine, including Polissia and the Carpathians (zones 5b–6b); it tolerates humidity and cool weather very well.

Care. Minimal — Hybrid Musks are very undemanding; light pruning at the end of winter, mulching.

About the name

Name. French 'Bouquet Parfait' = 'perfect bouquet', for its ability to produce ready-made spherical clusters of 20–40 flowers at once.

Breeding. Bred by Louis Lens (Belgium) in 1987 and introduced in 1989. Parentage: (Rosa multiflora var. adenochaeta × Ballerina) × White Dream®. Patent code LENbofa.

Significance. One of the 5 best-known Hybrid Musks by Louis Lens — the benchmark of the Belgian cluster style. The triploid trait makes the variety botanically rare.
